From Munich airport
Trains (either line S1 or S8) travel interleaved every 10 minutes from the airport to Munich Marienplatz. The travel time is approximately 72 (S8) - 85 (S1) minutes and an Airport-City-Day-Ticket can be purchased on the platform from a machine that accepts both Euro notes and coins. The Airport-City-Day-Ticket costs €12.40 for a single person and €23.20 for a group of up to 5 adults.
